My role as a piano player

Checking the tuning on a piano I used to teach on, after the summer heat.

Indian Day, carnival monday in Santa Cruz de La Palma 1992. An improvised concert on the street and free sangría to the public.

This is all that remains of my childhood piano, a Swedish-built Nilsson from the 1930´s with a wonderful tone. It´s final destination was my wife´s holiday cottage. Somebody broke in and stole everything, and they poured water over the piano keys to soften the glue and remove the ivories. Later we rented the house to a couple to protect it from further theft, and as the piano started to rot, they simply threw it out.
